Esther Martínez Pastor
Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Communication Sciences at the University Rey Juan Carlos of Madrid
She is PhD in Communication Sciences and she has also a Degree in Advertising and Public Relations at University Complutense of Madrid and Law (UNED).
Her research lines are focused on advertising, kids, adolescents, immigration and the emotions. She’s involved in research projects with the Spanish Association of Toys, elaborating an annual Report to evaluate “Self-Regulatory Code for Television spots of toys and Children”. Other projects are: “the Analysis of the use and consumption of media and social Networks on the Internet among Spanish adolescents. Characteristics and high-risk practices (CSO2009-09577)” financed by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation, and other projects.
Her interests are: Minors and Advertising Regulation, Emotions in Advertising, and Public Service Advertising.
